Say what you will about him, Uli is following his own muse
and is utterly unconcerned with pursuing commercial success as an end itself.
His latest album, Metamorphosis,
features his all-instrumental adaptation of
Antonio Vivaldi's
The Four Seasons
(yes his adaptation--his arrangements and orchestrations).
He uses his guitar, basically, as a replacement for a violin,
so I don't see that he has found a unique place in an orchestra
for the electric guitar yet.
I'm glad he keeps trying, though.
